BongShine Brings the Clean to 4/20 – A Community-Powered Launch Weekend
On April 20th and 21st, BongShine USA celebrated our launch with our very first Free Cleaning Weekend in Bend, Oregon—and what a weekend it was!
We kicked things off Saturday night at El Sancho on Galveston, one of Bend’s favorite taco spots and a hub for the local cannabis-friendly crowd. We set up our cleaning station outside, complete with the BongShine Auto Clean System, free giveaways, and live demos. Attendees brought in their bongs—some long overdue for a deep clean—and watched as our system made short work of years of resin and grime.
The reactions were priceless:
“Whoa—this is like a spa day for my piece!”
“I’ve never seen my bong look this good, even when it was new.”
It wasn’t just about cleaning—it was about building community, sharing laughs, and showcasing how BongShine makes glass care easy, fast, and satisfying.
Day Two: Mr. Nice Guy – SE Davis
On Sunday, we packed up and headed over to Mr. Nice Guy Dispensary on SE Davis for day two of our Free Cleaning activation. The vibe was relaxed and friendly, and we connected with dozens of local customers and staff.
Mr. Nice Guy has long been a part of the Bend cannabis community, and we were proud to partner with them for this event. We cleaned even more pieces, handed out free BongShine powder samples, and shared details about our Auto Clean Kit. It was a great way to wrap up the weekend and introduce more people to the future of easy bong care.
Why We Do Free Cleaning Days
We launched Free Cleaning Day not just as a marketing campaign, but as a way to engage directly with the community and show what BongShine is all about:
Supporting local businesses
Promoting clean, safe smoking habits
Making it ridiculously easy to maintain your favorite glass
By offering free deep cleans and live demonstrations, we take the guesswork out of cannabis gear care—and people love seeing the difference firsthand.
What’s Next?
This is just the beginning.
We plan to bring BongShine Free Cleaning Days to more dispensaries, smoke shops, and glass studios across Oregon and beyond. We’re especially excited to build relationships in Eugene, Portland, and the Willamette Valley. These events will include:
