BongShine-Madonna-DarkBongShine™ Cleaning Instructions

What You’ll Need:

✔ BongShine Powder (included)
✔ Hot Water (near boiling)
✔ Cork (included)
✔ Brush (included)
✔ Plastic Cutting Board (optional, for sink protection)
✔ Gloves (optional, but recommended)

Step 1: Heat the Water

  • Use really hot water from your sink OR heat water in a pan or tea kettle until you see small bubbles forming at the bottom (not boiling, but very hot).

Step 2: Prep Your Bong

  1. Place a plastic cutting board in your sink to protect your glass.
  2. Add BongShine™ Powder inside your bong, especially in the bottom chamber.
  3. Seal the downstem with the provided cork before adding water.

Step 3: Soak & Break Down Resin

  1. Carefully pour one cup of hot water into your bong. Add the powder and mix to dissolve the powder. Then fill the bong until it’s completely full.
  2. Let it soak until the water cools to bathwater temperature.
  3. For large or intricate bongs, use a temperature-safe sous vide bag to contain the cleaning process.

Step 4: Shake, Scrub, & Rinse

  1. Shake the bong with the cork still in place.
  2. Use the brush to remove any leftover residue.
  3. While your bong soaks, clean accessories (bowls, downstems) in a separate container with BongShine™ powder and hot water.

Step 5: Final Rinse

  • Start with a hot water rinse to loosen any leftover residue.
  • Then, switch to cold water to eliminate any cloudiness—your glass should now be crystal clear.
